“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13 NIV
God says this to His people after they receive some severe consequences for their choices and actions. Even then, He extends grace and forgiveness, desiring to be found by them wholeheartedly!
Pause and ask God if your whole heart is turned toward Him. He is calling you and has made a way for you to be in relationship through Jesus. Pray and thank Him as He leads you today.

Matthew 7:7-11 NIV
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”
Walk with God
The heart of God is the heart of a father—specifically one who wants to give good gifts to his children. How does that compare or contrast to the father figures in your own life?
Today’s passage offers more guidance on prayer: Ask, seek, and knock. What stood out to you from today’s verses?
Let’s take another look at these words:
Ask – Asking God shows our dependence on Him. Ask according to His Word, which is His will.
Seek – Be aware. Look for God’s presence and goodness in your life.
Knock – Be persistent in prayer. Keep praying in faith for His provision.
How could today’s verses, and the heart of the heavenly Father shown here, change the way you pray?
