God’s Word tells us that the love of money is the root of all evil, and foolish desires lead only to destruction. It also says that godliness with contentment is great gain. As followers of Jesus, we are called to set an example for the world around us. So let us not fall into the trap of believing that accumulating more tangible things will bring joy and peace to our souls. Instead, may we be people who focus on the only One who has the power to truly satisfy our every desire.
