Objectives
- To serve, be exposed to and interact with local ministries, cultures and the idea of reconciliation.
- To explore the historical, cultural, archeological and geographical context of Jesus and the Bible, as well as the Jewish roots of Christianity.
- The team leaders for the Summer 2016 Victory Hamilton Mill trip will be Johnson & Summer Bowie.
Tentative Itinerary
Day 1 Depart USA for Israel.
Day 2 Visit Ceasarea, Mt. Carmel, Overnight in Galilee.
Day 3 Ceasarea Philippi, Golan Heights. Overnight in Galilee.
Day 4 Boat ride on Sea of Galillee. Mt. Beatitudes, Bethsaida.
Day 5 Dead Sea, Qumran.
Day 6 Mt. of Olives, Gethsemane, Western Wall.
Day 7 Bethlehem
Day 8 Hezekiah’s Tunnel, Pool of Shiloam, Garden Tomb.
Day 9 Mt Zion, Upper Room, Jewish Quarter.
Day 10 Return to Atlanta.
Health Requirements
Participants need to be in good health and able to walk and stand for several hours a day.
