Temptation is a daily test we will all face in our lives. It is the result of our own desires. The enemy has a goal to take us out when he tempts us with our desires. But God has a plan to refine us through them – to draw us closer to Him. Our susceptibility to falling into temptation will only decrease when we increase our desire for the things of God. Love of the world makes us vulnerable to sin, but the love of God and our faith in Him lead us to a life of righteousness.
