Money has the power to deceive us. What we do with it tells God all He needs to know about our hearts — whether our affections are for Him or the things of this world. We weren’t created to allow fear, greed or doubt to control what we do with money. If we want to truly live in such a way that our worship of God is greater than our worship of things, then giving has to be at the forefront of how we think about and handle money. Let us be people who operate in the fullness of faithfulness and release back to God what He first gave to us.
