Most of us have heard the saying, “Treat people how you want to be treated.” Did you know that’s actually biblical? Jesus gave us this simple guide for behavior and interacting with others as He was closing out the Sermon on the Mount. It’s one of the most important principles we can possess to cause us to have the most influence in others’ lives. In every encounter He had with people, Jesus — the most influential person to ever live — was motivated by love, and our motivation should be the same.
