When Jesus was born, many missed the significance of the moment. The reality is that many of us do the same at Christmas time. We have made it a holiday all about gifts, parties and food, but that was never the intended meaning. It is a season to celebrate our Savior—the One who came to offer us forgiveness, peace and eternal life. He came so that we could live fully, but we have to acknowledge Him above all else.
